With the new focus on integrity and the new player experience, it would be great to focus more on the status of the lore and it's visibility in the overworld.

There are thousands of instances of confusing dialogue options with various NPCs or out-of-place objects that assume the player has completed The World Wakes, knows that the Gods have returned, etc.
Worst of all, these things are usually placed in very easy-to-reach places, leading to vast amounts of confusion among new players.

For example: Seren's garden and the Tree of Balance seem incredibly out of place before the relevant quests, and are not explained in any way: they are, however, placed in a very obvious spot right next to Varrock, where any player can wander and be confused by it.

Or the Al-Kharid dig site, where Dr. Nabanik will ALWAYS greet you with "Hello, old friend", and immediately spoil his secret identity to any player, even when they've just begun the game.

(These types of incidents are everywhere in the game: in general, everything related to Archeology just ignores the state of the player's quests completely, and is very easily located)

A lot of these things could be fixed, in my opinion, with a simple toggle to hide the dialogue options, NPCs or items until the relevant quests have been completed. With stuff like Archeology, this is obviously impossible, but could still be a little bit improved with conditionally changing some dialogue options.
AT THE VERY LEAST, a warning like some quests have would be appreciated: "This content takes place after The World Wakes, after the Gods returned to Gielinor. Here are the relevant quests blablabla..."

This has always been my pet peeve and is especially notable when trying to create a new character. Unlike OSRS, Runescape places a higher degree of importance on its lore and quests, so I feel like improving the consistency and pacing of its lore is just as important as improving the overworld and locations to be more consistent.
