I believe Discord, reddit, twitter -all social spaces- gravitate towards hype and positivity (which is great!) over weighty criticism. There is pressure to not sound like a nitpick and avoid raising things that don't good look to say - even if they're valid.

Game balancing treads a thin line between appeasing public narratives and maintaining long term game health. Concerns about item inflation vs profitability would not come off positively to most people, for example. An anonymous channel would let players raise concerns without fear of being misread or seen as negative. It gives the community a safer way to surface issues that might otherwise go unspoken, and it gives the devs a clearer signal of potential problems early on.

@molten terrace good feedback, even critical, negative feedback, will always have a place in this discord, as long as it is delivered without petty remarks or personal attacks. i would encourage you to say anything you want about the game as long as you keep these things in mind and remain professional about it (much like the message above)

if the concern is that you don't want others to be able to respond to your feedback or a fear of getting dogpiled over it, that may be a tougher thing to change (you'll have to let me know if this is what you want), though i personally believe it is important to elaborate on as well defend your argument to get the strongest version of it out there, and that's a state it may not be in on initial posting, only after being scrutinized

Its not really anonymous if you can get banned for what you say. Making it a place for choas 😂
