We're currently preparing a Q&A for a behind the scenes look at Leagues: Catalyst!

We'll be joined by Mod Desert and Mod Breezy to answer any questions you may have and give you their thoughts on why you should pick certain relics! Up to you if you want to pick them 😛

• What was the biggest technical challenge you faced while developing leagues?
• If you were given a free pass to make any relic you want, without worrying about balancing, what would it do?

I think it's fair to say that combat relics so far are a little less powerful than many expected - was that based on a conscious decision to diverge from OSRS leagues, and if so, what was your reasoning?

To give us an idea of how powerful we become, can you tell us what the hardest combat you can comfortably do in the maingame vs in the leagues is? Like if you're comfortably getting elite combat timers on the maingame are you cosy getting GM timers on the League?

Are there any plans to make tormented demons a passive unlock like Amascut or Gate?

Will Prod Master proc for the creation of Masterwork and required materials?

What’s the max xp and drop rate boost?

What are you guys doing to reapers?
We need reaper points for 3 hydrixes (EoF) and other unlocks

Also other time gated acitivies like ports for example, how are you dealing with those?

Can you specify what PM does to smithing?

Will Dg tokens get some sort of multiplier and will exp multiplier work when you redeem them for exp? For example at 8x exp you get 8 exp per token redeemed

When are you releasing what tiers each relic belong to and the rest of the task list?

How does Production Master interact with the Spirit Weaver relic that makes Summoning Pouches provide more XP but causes them to be made one at a time, if at all?

How will reaper tasks be handled with the assumption that there is no slayer/reaper task boosting relic?

Under the assumption that drop rates are buffed, how will this impact the anachronia pages required for Double Surge? Will we get extra pages on lap completion, extra random bonus pages, or both?

question,is it possible to play leagues with a runescape account? or does it only work with a multi-character jagex account?

Will “guarenteed” boss unique drops be boosted at all? E.g tectonic energy, ancient scales

Does the Elder God Book do all the effects at once? Or a selection toggle? Will we have to farm? Upkeep?
Does the invention component thing work like the costless ones? or do we have Forts for EOFs?
Will tier 1 tools be augmentable?
Is it safe to assume production masters boosts are visible, not invisible?
How good are goldenhawk boots? Will they get us 99 or are we talking very small xp drops? Is the gold from courses our level? or the courses level? If ours: can we boost?

“Stealing stalls doesn’t deplete them” Does this work if others steal our stalls?
Do farming buffs apply to herb seeds or also others? Are trees instagrown? Can we farm infinite coconuts?
Will bankers note have a “load last preset” option?
Will bombardement allow chincending? how will it work with grico?
Is barbarisms life steal 10% actually true? or diminishing like soulsplit is.

T1 relic tools aren’t augmentable, but the effects work from the inventory so you can use them alongside an augmented tool

How do you balance ridiculous power? Essentially: how do you decide what's too powerful for leagues, and what's not powerful enough?

Will there be a storyline or narrative reasoning of why Leagues is happening?

Will the Mobile perk work with the Tier 3 movement ability CDR (To make surge like 2s CD?)

Is there any modification to drops like Tectonic Energy, Malevolent energy etc to bring them in line with the 6x drop rate modifier?

Is Roar of Osseus/KharidEt pylon shared with the normal worlds? From what i understand those are tracked by a seperate server that all worlds are connected to, so unless you guys went out of your way it should be?

Does everlasting faith prevent prayer drain from other effects like spirit shields? abyss? boss specs?
Is the 5 minute revive cooldown different than a sign? Solo yaka?

Does barbarism healing have caps like soul split?

How are dungeoneering tokens affected by experience multipliers?

Any chance tormented demons can be added to the list of tier unlocks?

Do you need 92 prayer to get the soul split effect with the t7 relic

1. Does invention item xp get multiplied at all? Like during DXP? Or just the xp from D/A at the end? (this might have been answered already)
2. Do the different PM spirits proc on any skill, or do you still only get Seren spirits on gathering skills, etc
3. Does PM count as luminite injectors in artisan's workshop?
4. Could PM blow glass all at once? Making crystal flasks/bomb vial/etc.

5. Doubt it, for the same reason as urns - 16x item xp plus 16x disassembly/siphon xp would mean you get 256x xp

Which is probably a bit too broken even for leagues

What happens when an ironman kills another ironman in rs3?

Does the loot go poof, or does it drop to a gravestone?

Or whatever the mechanic is in rs3 nowadays

Question for the stream/Jmods: If the purpose in no cosmetics during leagues is to be able to see each other's progress in-game, will the examine feature have a Leagues specific section to more directly see such progress?

1) Will elite Skilling outfit fragments have a better drop rate for the league to match the increased XP rates?
2) Can relics be changed at any point?
3) Any changes to minigames? (aside from Thaler)

1. Can we expect any more quest lines auto completed with relics or is it just bosses being unlocked? Things like Desert Elite tasks which is going to be a leagues task, Tormented Demons requring While Guthix sleeps, etc, require so many quests, and I feel like this league is just going to contain so much questing if there is not more Auto Completed quests.

2. Can we expect a list of Items effected by drop rate boosts? Something along the lines of what OSRS had?

3. As it stands, there is nothing rewarding Number of Tasks completed, is there more to share on that or is the only form unlocks come from Points? Number of tasks has always been tied to some unlocks, either regions or skills prior and is an important part of rewarding easier tasks, instead of only balancing around High Point tasks.

I'm planning to take the specialist relic but I have 1 question. Will I be able to use any special attack with any weapon I choose with that relic? Example being eldritch crossbow special. Can I activate it while using melee with the specialist relic?

There will be leagues worlds so it won't be any different than a normal game log in. You will be fine without jagex account
