So yeah, the 5pc is really bad and not worth using it at all. I would like to see the effect not be a copy of the dracolich armour and have something more in line with the magic kit

I've got two random ideas

  1. When deathspores are on cool down, each crit shortens the deathspore cd by 3 ticks (1.8s) what if the 5pc makes all your crits in fsoa reduce your cool down by 0.6s per crit

  2. Perhaps the 5pc effect could change time strikes in some way, making them more interesting or maybe having a secondary effect (think the og fsoa, blood barrage etc)

I think these are infinitely better than the current 5pc effect but yea

while your proposals are interesting, the do present a problem not present in any other set effect in the game in that they require a specific weapon to be equipped. Not a specific type but one specific singular weapon. That basically nullifies all other weapons, particularly with the "charging" effect that would force you to camp FSOA for 9 seconds before entering your spec window.
