With the introduction of the memory dowser, empty divine charges have become obsolete and just sit in my bank as an ironman, as making divine charges with the dowser is faster than using the vacuum and just as afk. It would be great if empty divine charges could be made into divine charges with energy that has already been gathered.

Yes true, making divine charges with the vacuum would still be an option, this would just be an alternative. I should have said obsolete for those who have obtained a dowser.

I think the vacuum really just needs a rework to be made one handed and not destroy any memories when used in conjunction with the dowser. Then make it so empty charges are crafted significantly faster than divine charges and suddenly the vacuum is relevant again and a still a time saver.

^ seconded. dowser is created as an off-hand skilling item. therefore, the vac could be the main-hand equivalent.

I think the path is probably to rebalance so vacuum is the quickest way of getting charge but there is a player interrupt whenever a charge is filled
