I am writing to express my concern about the current communication options available for players to contact Jagex Moderators (JMods). While I understand and appreciate the efforts Jagex has made to provide options for player support, I find it problematic that Twitter seems to be the primary method to reach a JMod for cases that fall outside the standard support categories (perm ban with no appeal).
As it stands, the official RuneScape website and the Discord server do offer some avenues for support, but these are limited to predefined categories. If a player’s issue does not fit neatly into these categories, their support request cannot proceed. This restriction can be frustrating and leaves players without a clear path to resolve their unique concerns.
I strongly believe that Jagex should consider implementing a more comprehensive support system that allows for direct communication with JMods through official channels. This could be achieved by expanding the options available on the official website or integrating a more flexible support ticket system on the Discord server.
A more robust support system would not only improve player satisfaction but also demonstrate Jagex’s commitment to addressing all player issues, regardless of their nature.
Thank you for taking the time to consider this feedback. I look forward to seeing continued improvements in the player support experience.
Best regards,
Crovaa
