Hey @uneven chasm, have you thought about starting an ironman account? It's very social, always new people joining up or starting new accounts with a sprinkling of more experienced players with maxed accounts that are able to help with content and knowledge.
Our iron clan for example, lots of clannies have been recently starting new hardcore accounts so there is a large fresh community of low level accounts to do content with.
