You seem to have already resigned yourself to failure - this is a self-fulfilling prophecy because if you have already decided that you will never be able to solve these puzzles then you will never put in the relatively small amount of time it takes to learn how to solve them and thus you never actually will be able to solve them

making a single one work on the quests would be overpowered, and having multiple work wouldn't make snese

so they shouldn't do it
