Seems kind of silly that a vex can't be dropped at a lot of places where players are concentrated - exactly where you'd want to place them for maximum visibility. I understand that there's a trolling factor, but there are plenty of places I'd like to be able to put one down and can't. For example, Wars, Deep Sea Fishing Hub etc. Haven't done extensive research into where you can and can't, but I find half the time I want to pop one down I get slapped with a "You cannot do that here" - A quick reevaluation would be great. You are going about clan recruiting in all the wrong ways.. You are treating it like some kind of sales pitch as if your trying to sell me an extended warranty. If you successful recruiting you simply need to get together with with clan mates - take a break from brain numbing grinding and kick back and show people you want them in your clan. Put effort into recruiting not just slapping down a vex and high tailing it out of there and then expecting players to put in additional effort into adding you and messaging you rather than you being there in person and visibly showing them you care enough about your clan to take time away from day to day tasks to bring people in.
If it were up to me the ability to invite players from the absolute void
would simply not exist.
Clan Vex's would instantly remove themselves from the placed area when you
get too far from them.
If you honestly care about your clan you would sit at these populated areas
and manually recruit for it without the need of a Vex and and show players
you genuinely care because when you do this it tells them you are confident
they would enjoy the clan it makes them feel worth more that you are willing
to take time away from day to day tasks to find people to join you and your clan.
