I very seriously doubt I'm the only one that's annoyed with the forced movement aspect of this particular ability, especially since it's one of the best DPS even for single targets in the style when you get all 3 swings. My idea to fix it is, much like with Tsunami for magic, to have the main target be able to be hit from any distance that necromancy normally hits but have the AOE centered on you. This removes the benny hill routine from normal operations and also preserves the current mob clearing functionality entirely. Win/Win.

Just so you know, scythe isn’t good for single target dps

I did math, it comes out to being worth 175% per swing over 3 basics, the bonus damage from the third swing's effect excluded. What can you do that's better and not on a giant cooldown?

The issue isn’t the damage, it’s that it costs 60% adren to use all 3

#

Post LD, Efficiently rotating between basics/bloat/command skeleton/resummoning conjures/finger with necro stacks/t70 or t95 spec is going to be better

LD is 30 seconds with a minute and a half cooldown.

I agree

#

Spending 20% adren per gcd to use 3 avg 175% abilities isn’t good

#

Auto auto finger costs much less adren and does only 25% less damage, and that’s on the worse end of things you can do

To be fair, I'm a revo++ user, so going that much extra on something is a rarity.

silver vault

Ah yeah revo++ is going to make it weird either way

#

I think scythe is probably a waste either way, since it’s just not adren efficient

The extra souls can be nice.
