Can the dragonfire ward act as a lantern to let us conjure, I don't want to use potions for dragons and everything has shield abilities with necro, but dragonfire shield for necro has most of necro turned off, so it's pretty boring.

Partially in agreeance, I think swapping to the necro shield shouldnt clear your spirits on the spot, it'd be better if you could summon them and swap to a necromancy style shield and keep them active for their durations as normal. Having it work as I've just described seems a fair trade off for actually swapping to a shield imo.

idk if ur an ironman or a main, but u could also buy the super antifires, or use mage deflect in combination with a reg antifre pot

I'm not switching, I just don't want to watch a potion timer, and the trade off for not watching a potion timer is, less damage+loss of an adrenaline ability+loss of all conjures. And having 2 adren abilities instead of 3 pretty much loses shield abilities too.

I kept a visage that I got for a drop specifically to use for when Necro was released. I was pretty disappointed to find out that it was just for a necro dfire shield that really seems to have no purpose. I was really hoping to see that functionality added to the offhand like in a quest or achievement of some sort. I don't see where a necro dfire shield would really be used at all.

i mean, there are still 2 achievement diarries to come aswell as a shitload of quests i assume
so maybe it's tied in as a reward space
