I am in the exact same boat. returned after 15 years and everything is completely redone and different.
I just joined 3 weeks ago so i now know exactly what i should of done at the beginning and whatnot or how certain things work that were different than they use to be. You can join the clan i joined. Im the only one in FSW in my clan (2 people made alts to get lvl 120 thieving and play on there sometimes) Everyone is super friendly, hangs out in voice chat a lot (also can use voice chat text channel) and helping me understand the game as they are experienced and friendly
