I think there should be a hardcore mode on official servers so players like me who enjoy a bit more of realism where players like myself can indulge in where we are not being demolished by movement demons. And there's no red or blue lights instead there are armbands no nametags and zero scope glints. And we can be a bit more tactical and is slow paced (make it similar te BF4 hardcore servers)

Likely wouldn’t apply to official because most people aren’t into that style of gameplay. And glint likely wouldn’t be changed for balance reasons (you can thank open 2km maps with little cover and lots of dead/unused space for this - along with the state of snipers/dmrs at launch vs now)

the movement needs to be toned down for 254 player count servers in general. There is already too much chaos plus you have a mid range engagement weapon, body armor etc which makes you slow, low ttk and slow ads speed because it is a big map and you are expecting mid to long range fights.
But instead there is a roach flying at you with a pp2000 and c4 which you cant possibly retaliate to.
If I wanted to play against that I would be playing on smaller player count maps and servers.
Movement speeds are fine, everything else got nerfed in playtest
Rest of this im not entertaining because it boils down to “im not good at sniping/positioning”, go play HLL and have badmins cater to you

I already made points about how defending could be better (reward people for defending their points and using their buildables.) Suggesting move speeds be nerfed when a big complaint was that players felt like they move too slow is just nonsene imo.

Wouldn't it be possible to just keep the movement speed and disable pdw, smgs, no armor on 245 count server? Because they basically run naked and start spazing when someone shoots at them
I mean PDWs/SMGs are already getting nerfed, along with the armor system being removed entirely (when the update comes of course.)
Community servers could disable it sure, but currently its 1 official server where everyone plays (sometimes 2) which keeps everything on. Unless people start playing community servers again that likely wont change until the update.
tbh (until the update) it would be a lot better for everyone if players with rabies were forced to play on 16 v 16 with smgs locked on 254.

When the game meta hasn't shifted in two years its essentially already figured out - either people going long range near-in base, mid-range in buildings, generally 3rd floor or higher, or close range with explosives to deal with barricades and large clumps of enemies
im not going to lie I just dont have a bunch of energy for this stuff in general rn, update will probably revive my interest.

Everything's stagnent, there's nothing more to do, so most people just run the established "meta" stuff (especially as a new player because it so happens to be the earlier unlocks, and most of those early good unlocks happen to be SMGs.)
sweats do not play for fun. they play for farming kills. idk its some kind of rush going on these days to get as many kills as possible before the update which will basically nuke everything. And get their names on leaderboards
But anyways, hopefully the update changes up stuff, adds new content and brings people back. Only time will tell

Best way to help your team capture an objective is to make sure enemies can't spawn on it and outnumber them because of how spawning on contested objectives was removed... or the battle of 2 blobs (teams) running around all over the map
