Each of the two machine guns has its own strengths and weaknesses, which feels well-balanced. The existing one excels at sustained fire and delivers heavy firepower, while the new one is great for precise burst firing but lacks staying power and has a cooldown window.

Wasn’t the original minigun for LB just supposed to have a cooldown mechanic as its “nerf” and nothing extra?
