So I've got a question about the image sharpening in game during the Overhaul playtest. I noticed that it's maybe a little over the top, at least for my liking. I understand if this helps preventing players from "merging in" with the terrain at some point, and given how the current live version doesn't have that, it almost sometimes feels like it is unnecessary. I'll put up an example of what I'm talking about, and with that I have a question:
Will we be able to configure this parameter in the settings? or is this going to stay forced for everyone?

can't say for certain, could be, but I didn't notice it in the settings during the playtest
then again, it’s just a play test, I wouldn’t expect to have all the settings
just like in bf6 play test
eh, better hope this doesn't stay like this honestly
we’ll know soon enough
Which image is live and which is update? This is almost certainly AA
'm certain this is sharpening, not anti-aliasing. Look closely at the second image — the jagged edges are identical; they've just been blurred.
you are absolutely correct. it is sharpening. sharpening is disabled on the left side and enabled on the right side.
its cool that it gives the final image more detail (in some cases), but i wouldnt really rely on it as it destroys the final overall image
