Do we actually know of any instances of games getting in big trouble over using the actual gun name or if it's ever gone further than just a cease and desist? IDK I don't think BBR is big enough (sadly) to really be on their radar. Plus doesn't Tarkov use the actual names? I feel like if they can get away with it BBR likely can.

Plus a lot of the designations are still easy to recognize, scorpion evo is just Evo 3 a1

There are some that don’t like the Desert Eagle, but even then you can just call it a Deagle.

Heck half the of HK weapons already used the german military designation, that’s why they didn’t have HK in the name. Mp5, G36, G3, mp7, UMP45. The one that doesn’t is the HK416 which was has different names based on the country, but still has the military designation HK416 F in France.

Or HK416D as the US designates it.

FAMAS is officially designated as the FAMAS F1 or G2 by the French army depending on what version was modeled in game.
