Hello dev team!
I’d like to propose a fully dedicated World War II version of BattleBit Remastered—not as a request to rush updates, create duplicates, or repeat existing threads, but as a fresh concept focused on expanding the BattleBit universe in a respectful, constructive way.
Why a WWII Version Makes Sense:
-
BattleBit’s strengths fit the era perfectly
Your large-player-count, teamwork-centered gameplay could bring WWII environments to life in a uniquely chaotic and rewarding way. Urban sieges, beach landings, armored pushes, and infantry-driven maps would all translate incredibly well into the BattleBit framework. -
A fresh experience without disrupting the main game
A standalone WWII edition (or major themed expansion) would let players enjoy classic-era combat without interfering with the balance, progression, or modern combat identity of the main game. -
Strong community interest in historical gameplay
Many players enjoy large-scale WWII shooters, but the genre lacks an accessible, optimized, high-player-count option. BattleBit’s performance-first design could fill that gap better than any competitor. -
Opportunities for unique mechanics
Era-appropriate vehicles (Shermans, Tigers, half-tracks)
Asymmetric faction strengths
Classic weapon handling with BattleBit’s signature style
Large-scale objective modes built around historical battles
- Expands the universe while staying true to BattleBit’s charm
The voxel art style and fast-paced, tactical sandbox would offer a refreshing take on WWII without copying the realism-heavy approach of other games.
Thank you for taking the time to read this! I appreciate all the work you put into the game and hope this idea can inspire discussion about future expansions of the BattleBit universe.
