Add a way for players to check player count per region on menu. This way, players from each region can decide to play on another region or play on his own region server.

Just use mia’s website/a community ran region/server tracker

Aka battlebit info

Links are blocked otherwise I’d post it here

Same goes for the site.
I'm not native english speaker, don't know if I made myself clear in the post: people per region as in how many players are accessing the game from a region, not how many players are playing in a server located at some region.

#

Actually, about the site, It does supposedly show player count by region, mb. I Don't know how precise the count is though.

I don't think you understood, I want to know how many EU players are playing the game, but this I can't do just by looking at how many players are in the servers. Players from one region can join another region's servers. Using your method, I would be counting non EU players as EU players.

Yeah im pretty sure that cant really be tracked?

#

You would have to ask pepega but i think the site does not track the EXACT region the players are from, as opposed to just tracking the region they are playing in

#

I am definetly not familiar enough on this particular thing but the best we can get is to assume that 85-95% of people in a region at peak times are actually in said region

#

@bronze stone now that im curious could this actually be tracked in any form?

I mean, from the game’s api itself, not really?

#

I suppose servers could use their own systems to log locations via battlemetrics but I wouldn’t enterain that idea, personally (it wouldn’t be accurate anyways, not all servers use battlemetrics).

If OP’s asking for that specifically, that would require tracking all user’s locations when logged into bbr, which im sure people would have concerns about.
