the problem disappears when you are logged into the discord server, it is as if it were a whitelist

Autoadmin kicks players who are standing still. I think you need to be registered on the server for it to work

E4gls server provider blocks certain countries from connecting to their server so the fix is usually either cloud flare WARP or another vpn

also WARP doesn't change origin of your IP, country will stay often the same

so far you've only showed screenshot of them saying that their ip is blocked by few countries nvm read edit

regarding WARP - best bet would be using something like exitlag or lagofast, they're both paid but with free trial

Simple version is hetnzer isn’t playing nice with certain IPs, some from RU unfortunately

Worst case scenario we can always look for another provider or change up stuff on the server with said provider depending on what we need to do (none of us feel okay with the blocking joins stuff obviously) but that’s the situation. We weren’t even aware of them doing this (or hetnzer being blocked from RU) until people started bringing it up on the e4gl discord.

Best advice is what was given here if you want to play on our servers for the time being. Exit lag, warp, etc. work fine from what I was told. Some have also said VPNs work for them but we’re getting mixed replies on that solution.

not really hetzner, russian government censorship service called RKN blocks variety of foreign hosting including hetzner so my bet would be that E4GL ip simply got blocked in Russia, though i checked both RKN monitoring and availability of E4GL ip from different russian ISPs and it doesn't seem that it is blocked, though it might be that RKN started to block certain protocols from certain hosting providers but i honestly have no idea, they don't really share those "measures" publicly

Yeah. My network at hetzner got blocked. I have 4 options:

1. Blame russia and do nothing.
2. Buy a new network at hetzner and hope it is not blocked.
3. Use my own hardware. I have servers in Austria but with quite slow sub 4GHz server cpus. Not sure if they are fast enough.
4. Rent at ovh or another hoster.

Not that easy to choose.

What i noticed is that those unable to connect are usually also unable to ping the IP

I also have the same issue with one of my bf4 servers. That one also runs at hetzner and is blocked. Just remembered

But i would assume if people use a vpn server outside of russia it should work.

Though also read in the tor forum that there are certain triggers that activate even worse network blocking to try block tor.

Not worth the costs then...
Cheapest thing i can do is to try another IP range there and hope that not the whole autonomous system is blocked

Or maybe run the bbr server with low well known udp ports lol. Not the high one i have now hmm

it's a headache to find good vpn/server for playing online, me before moving and few of my friends had good experience with exitlag/lagofast/gearup booster (whatever service offered better latency), i know that exitlag routes connections to their RU servers first, then to closest one to the game server and it works decent that way

As im sure living force said when we investigated turns out Russian ISPs are blocking our server provider

You’ll have to use a vpn or something like cloudflare warp/exit lag
