On the other, beta branch does make it easier for the devs to test things rather than doing a whole thing of making it seperate from the actual game itself
And it might not bright enough new/old people in by making it seperate anyways so

This is a bad idea because it’s for testing the update not playing the game really

So it would kinda mess up the testing environment with a bunch of people who are here to just play

Also the game doesn’t need “new players” really, just old players who quit

Because the game had like 100,000 players at one point so that means that thousands of people have it in their steam library

They just need to come back

I mean tbf some feedback is still going to boil down “sweat clan bad” or something akin to that

There is a valid point to be made that having only current owners being able to play it would reduce the chances of that situation being more frequent, but low effort feedback will happen regardless
