Engineer gadget that is basically a remote control roomba with a blowtorch and small flashlight from Battlefield 4.

Pros:

  • Can repair friendly vehicles and damage enemy vehicles
  • Can damage and destroy enemy equipment with the blowtorch (like anti nade trophies, mines/claymores and rally points)
  • Is immune/very resistant to most small explosives (landmines, claymores and grenades)
  • Can spot and damage/kill players (if they are unattentive as they always are)
  • Can arm and disarm objectives in rush
  • Has a flashlight

Cons:

  • Faster than a walking player but slower than a running one
  • Controls like a tank and is awful when encountering small bumps and uneven terrain (can get flipped over)
  • Weak to bullets and stronger explosives (RPGs, tanks, APCs and C4)
  • Audible buzzing noise when moving and using the blowtorch
  • Limited range, only resuppliable at base, player vunerable when using it (same as drone) and grey camera

getting a kill with this kinda sounds like pickaxe level of trolling

#

just that you only get one try per life and cant help with smokes

On conq it might not fare that bad as well, but its hard to tell

but aside from trolling with it i dont really see a point in using it over the normal repair tool/ rpg

abstract iron
#

Exact same repair

#

Basically safer repair where you dont risk your life

Plus you can spot with the thing

#

At the very least you can deploy it to scout a packed area and ping everyone

#

would it be the tool or rpg gadget slot?

abstract iron
#

Tbh idk

#

Either slot works

hm i kinda see why one would use it but its really only niche cases.

If i wanted to be extra cheeky it would be easily resuppliable so you can send out dozens at a time like on BF4

#

Or hell put C4 on it

Put it on top of a tank and sit at spawn so you don’t die and can just have an immortal tank

#

Like have 5 eod bots on a tank

I see this get used in 2042 once in a blue moon, and it's used to chase around some unsuspecting pleb, and does practically nothing of importance.

Personally, I don't see a good use for it.

Move every now and then and it will be fine
