Clan Patches

Clan patches, that you can put on your equipment! Pure cosmetic, no buffs or de-buffs

You can't put these on your camo, only on armor / backpacks / hats etc, and only in places where default faction patches are exists (if there are 3 faction patches on your equipment - you can put the same clan patch into these 3 places respectively).

You can create patch on your own, only if you are a creator of the clan. 1 clan - 1 patch, no more no less.

Anyone who joined your clan can use it's patch. It's only the player decision, will he use your clan patch or he prefers default faction patches more.

Some group of people (moderators ) should approve or reject every requested clan patch. Without a request you can't create a clan patch basically.
I would automatically reject all patches with the real country flags.

I did them 26x12, but I think in bigger resolution they will fit perfectly to the game as well.

Why reject real country flags?

The game has real country flags in it already

Id only reject offensive stuff

it may be controversial to approve such patches, it can cause conflicts probably
and just like it written in #faq - there will be different factions in the game. It will look out of place if some faction will have a patch with a flag of a different country imo

Genuinely though the most controversial countries I can think of are Russia, Israel, China, and America.

And 2 out of those 4 are in the game already

Although I see the other reason of factions

I would love custom patches though

I don't mind it if it's a faction in game, but if someone will intentionally support some country that sets against me, it will be disgusting honestly
Anyway there will be additional factions in the game as devs are planning, so there's no point to allow people create patches with country flags

Yeah I fully agree, but I still think that all the vile shit that will be put as a clan patch just isn't worth it

there's a reason pepole don't like the conscientious objector in tf2

moderation will reject or approve patches, and they also can warn / mute / ban people for political and controversial discussions

and again, I'm against the real flags of countries in patches.

if you mean sides (ru or usa) then there's no problems with it really. On camo flag of your side will be always showing, you cant change it. Plus you have player indicators, which in the update will be glowing even. And well, camo's also different in both sides.
