Models: a light 50mm mortar, selectable in the loadout menu, with 5 non-replenishable shells for quick fire support, and a heavy 120mm mortar, placeable by the squad leader (the mortar needs to be "built"), replenishable with small ammo boxes, intended for sustained indirect fire.
Mechanics: the squad leader places a target point on the map, the distance to it is displayed, the engineer enters this value in a calculator interface and selects the firing angle using a side wheel, while the mortar itself can be rotated for fine aiming adjustments. This would make engineers more useful, expand squad leader options and add more communication in team.
