As viable as this option sounds, I'm afraid this might or may bring in cheaters for the time being that will ruin the experience for everyone, making the players who came back to the game and even new ones think that lot of cheaters are still rampant in this game, which would most likely reduce the player count. But hey, it's only my opinion, who knows what could happen kittenThinking

Sure f2p weekend might increase that for a bit but realistically the most obvious ones are gone within a few games if server/bbr staff are around, and “legit” cheaters simply aren’t that common in bbr

well, operation overhaul will realistically have the game popular for at most a month, before bbr starts to die again, although i really do hope this isnt the case, as right now at any given moment theres like 2 full servers

Yeah the current situation is disappointing for me, but I do believe that the overhaul might bring somewhere to over 30k players in my opinion, and then if it starts dying again, my best guess would be that there at least would be a stable player count of 5-10k players

They said that small updates will not help the game stay alive, so we will see where all this is headed to

I've read through everything they said over the overhaul development time, including the google document, they said that they couldnt release the update in parts, because everything depends on each other, for example, they said that when they finished the new sounds, the animations no longer matched, then probably the UI was outdated for the new stuff, and so on. So pretty much all that must be released together, otherwise people might think they were pretty lazy even after such a long time of silence, and blame the devs for everything

Maybe the gap between the updates was big? Releasing a small bug patch would inform players of an update, thinking its another one of those that maybe adds a new weapon or something, probably thats why he didn't do it
