There's already a pretty generous map pool, and I barely play half of them. And it's only going to get worse. The more maps there are, the more we'll see the same maps over and over again. We need to do something.
Having a good variety of maps is a very good thing.
But let me play them all.

Nah, remove a map from voting pool for x amount of games then add it back after the threshold has passed
We tried that system on community and it works pretty well actually. Nobody complaining about RNG picking “shit maps” and people who want variety can still get to play the other maps eventually as time goes on.
Still need people to feel like they can choose what they want to play imo. But adjusting it in other ways to make the impact feel less harsh when the lesser played maps end up being chosen is a better long term solution, at least imo.

maybe it could be like siege where you vote ban a map then one of the other options is randomly picked or something idk

Unfortunately for a game as large as BBR vote bans wouldn’t work because people will just keep banning the unpopular maps to not play them.
