make more sentries agt gets c4 and nade, then another for RPG only
Give trophy actual counterplay first, currently trophy:
Cant be destroyed by any explosive
Doesn’t despawn at all, when normally gadgets are supposed to despawn when the person placing them goes into the respawn menu
Has Unlimited use, with zero cooldown.
And yet its still “not powerful enough” for you?

There is absolutely zero counterplay to that and if people wanna make the argument c4 spam is brain off, then trophy spamming and not being punished for it when you die is effectively just as stupid, lets not pull a double standard here.
I mean look, next update it wont be able to destroy nades through walls and being able to sandwich it between sandbags which is a big nerf already

C4 getting nerfed anyways but besides the point

I agree with other explosives damaging it, but at least dont make it despawn
Just establish some ways to make it more fun to fight against, or make it clear that I need to kill/deny revives of someone so the trophies will go away (helping my team do things like use smokes for pushes)

I mean considering that you can just smoke near the antinaded sandbag already, and that antinades next patch will not destroy nades thru walls and sandbags, you would already have decent counters with smoke
And since vaulting will also be cracked, breaching will be easier than ever
Antinades not despawning is the only thing keeping it from being useless and removing the little actual defensive options the game has
Point is in the current patch it’s asinine to fight against, and the easiest way to deal with trophy spam is just spamming other explosives, then hunting them down after the clump of enemies are dead.
So it creates a problem of “wtf so much explosive spam” in another way, but it’s either that or getting lucky with a push or the enemies being unaware. Either way neither side is happy.
And smoke GL would be an option.. if smokes weren’t bugged. They are currently so that’s out of the question.
Better to revisit this discussion after the patch so we can have actual info that we can use instead of speculating

For sure. But for right now its probably best to just not have it counter anything more
At least without a limit of some sort or them actually despawning when you kill the guy using them. At least imo

as long as they are in the death screen they dont

I still say the trophy having a .1-second cooldown would be enough to fix it. hell, maybe less since it has to actually have LOS eventually.
But it needs to have something, instead of being instant to everything within a radius

but honestly support grenades, more support options for gadgets beyond "delete enemy" is only a good thing

Well, EMP, for one. Different types of trophies that specialize in something instead of being general. To be fair, there are not many grenade types out there beyond EMP, smoke, flash, and frag(we technically have HE with the AT nades) that aren't sci-fi like recon nades.
of course those are for what we got now. anything more would take knowing how the game works post-update and what ever they have planned after that (like the tank trophy system)
Specialized drones could be a thing, like a dedicated recon drone that moves faster and has more zoom, and an FPV type for vehicles or infantry. in other words, just specilization so we have things to pick through for our playstyle instead of a one size fits all that everyone will always pick because it does all the jobs well
