Weapon unlock system remake

I think that instead of the current level up based unlock system we should instead have something more akin to Battlefield 4.

Where instead of weapons being unlocked by levelling up you instead get points for kills which go into unlocking weapons.

This would award players who play theyre preferred class well with more options.

You gaining xp by a lot of things in this game, including killing other players. More kills = more exp, I don't understand the purpose of this suggestion?

In BF4 each gun class has a seperate leveling system
For example, to unlock DMRs you need to play as recon a bit iirc
After that you have to use the unlocked DMR and earn points using it to unlock other DMRs
Same applies for other gun classes

Its not a bad system, tho imo in BF4 it was a bit too grindy

Idk, it makes the game even more grindy, I don't wanna to play with recon class because it has a bad weapon by the very start pretty much (I don't like ssg 69), that's why I'm playing other classes to eventually unlock M200 and start playing recon class again.

Idk It just seems like it doesnt matter if I play good and pop off in the match I still wont level up

Maybe set up weapon assignments

Simple solution is to make the starting guns at least ok to use
And as long as it doesnt take like 50 hours for each class it should be fine

It wasn’t based on class but rather gun category. So to unlock more dmrs you needed to play with dmrs more
