death screen fix?

why does this game have to make the entire screen black out when i die? i can't even see my pause menu or anything.

could it be changed to where only the background gets the blackout and put the menu and other screens on top of that?

But the when downed the screen does infact turn black gradually regardless if the bug occurs or not

Thats just how it works (and prolly why the black screen bug is as annoying as it is when it happens)

As to why oki decided bleedout has to black out the whole screen, instead of maybe leaving out the HUD and menus, is anyones guess
