Im gonna be real, most people asking for revives whilst complaining they don’t get any are usually way out of position, or its a situation of where you’re asking a class that doesn’t have a shit ton of on demand bandages (assault, engi, and recon) to revive you.

Support can self supply a large amount of gear efficiently to offset bandage loss, and medic has 20 bandages, enough to get a few revives in.

No amount of additional “please help this teammate” markers will change that shit, nor should any class realistically have that additional UI info besides medic. (granted medic also needs buffs to his tools to make healing others you just revived/are trying to save worth a damn, but that’s besides the point)

Support has his own UI stuff for ammo already so adding it to that class would just cause an overlap. Rest of the classes, well.. its simply not their job to revive, nor would it be useful info for them.

as for medics not reviving just dont be deep in enemy lines, or try asking nicely. 9/10 times its the fact that people are too deep into enemy lines/are in a weird spot. If not that they mald about not getting revived in voip.. why would I wanna revive that?

I may occasionally be rude to non reviving medics but at least i say thank you most of the time after a revive

Besides we are getting a prompt next update to call for medics if we dont want to use the voip

Oh something to be careful of: a Red “+” referencing something medical is under copyright by the Red Cross. It has to be a different color or shape

and the geneva convention applies to warring factions (of which are identified by other rules)

so essentially, as long as you are not masquerading as the red cross, or abusing the symbol in real life, they cannot do anything to you but fume

this does not include using it in times of distress, or as a symbol of protection in a dangerous area such as warzones.

I think the confusion here is that the red cross, with a white background, has a trademark, not copyright. a red cross without said white background is not under their trademark.

I can't find any souce for the other two to have backgrounds, but the red cross is clearly stated as Redcross (made of 4 squares) on a white background.

In the update when you are down, you will be able to hold Q which will ping nearby medics and display an icon on your body.

As the medic responding to that ping, will we have a non verbal way to acknowledge the call? Like can I look at the "call for help" icon and click my ping button to notify that player ?

Straight up just a function from battlefield but its very nice to be able to ping through walls and tell someone like "hold the fuck on im working on it"

i am good enough to go shoot enemies and get 40/20 kda, and whenever i can i revive or heal

and my main issue is that people don't even try to wait to get revived, they just insta space and die

hate it when people rush in and constantly die and immeditately go into killing themselves faster, i play medic a lot and yes there are weird spots in which reviving doesn't make much sense, but there are also many places where it makes sense

and i keep a kda at around 40/20 very often

which usually gets me on top of the leaderboard easily

I think another problem is that a lot of the other classes just don’t revive people because they aren’t medics which leads to people complaining about not getting revived despite several team members being around

Depends on the map honestly, on waki bridge I love sitting next to a resupply ammo box and getting like 15-25 revives per life

Gains a lot of score especially combined with healing them all

But I do understand a lot of people only play medic to heal themselves with med ox

Unfortunate common behavior across most games with similar medics
