#Hotas/ Flight Sim Controls Support For Helos
1 messages · Page 1 of 1 (latest)
there isn't really a reason to use a hotas in battlebit
there's already limited support as in you can bind it and the helicopter willr espond to inputs
but really i don't see how the fine control of HOTASes and similar peripherals will really
change anything
but i want to
unless there would also be a more "realistic" flight mode that offers you more control of the helicopter but requires more effort?
hmm
that is a good point
there is no reason exept i have a 100 peice of plastic i wont be able to use
microsoft flight sim dont allow shooting
I mean im gonna vote yes because fuck it why not, realistically I wouldn’t be shocked if this ends up being low or nonexistent on the priority list for the game
falcon BMS and DCS
DCS is a little iffy on its future but BMS is like $5
and also has a good looking future
it is just a mod for a 1990s (or early 2000s) game but is the most realistic you can get as a regular person
also avoid Logitech for flight sim peripherals
Or at least give us sensitivity sliders for inputs, using A/D for roll is a pain since you can’t adjust how slow the roll is. With a mouse you can just turn up the sensitivity and rotate the heli quicker than keyboard.
Have you considered making mouse the roll
Ive done that
Does wonders
or maybe options to adjust the amount of input for a control based on the duration you hold a key (if you hold A key for 3 seconds it gradually ramps up the amount the helicopter turns, from a little to halfway to max)
I don’t wanna go back to default controls
Then you have to aim with a keyboard
if you use mouse yaw you’re a masochist
A and D yaw gang
Tf are you on?
Nuh uh im a perfectly sane individual
a chair RN
You can’t aim for jack with A/D yaw haha
some of May be transport pilots
hello autocorrect I’m saying may as in might not May as in the month
Yeah ok Mrs frizzle
do you know how much DCS is not including addon aircraft
yes I did
DCS itself is free
where it costs you is
- hardware to play the game
- the 52305320 modules
- a mental tax
true
i wouldnt spend more than $100 on DCS in its current state
mental tax lol reminds me a war thinder
a different type of mental tax, at least
haha lol
but still i'd check out falcon BMS
ok will do
more realistic, cheaper, and a better future
its only $5 for falcon 4.0 on steam and the mod (BMS) is free
it looks like gta san andreas but CJ joined the airforce (in other words it look old)
the base game was m ade in 1998
