#Why choose light supply box on support?

Mfw supports are getting even slower
^ it would just cancel each other out, and you have to remember assault has the small ammo kit too so giving bonus move speed for using it wouldn’t be ideal for some people. Giving supports more small boxes would probably be enough though, maybe then I could see someone playing a more aggressive support utilizing it
Agreed
Just more small boxes
3 big boxes for more supplies but in one spot
Say 6 small ones for less supplies but more spread out for your team
dont supply boxes despawn when you die tho, so spreading out more boxes is useful only if you can also consistently stay alive for long periods, which could encourage even more people to just camp somewhere instead of playing the game.
Generally speaking, everything is supposed to despawn upon death, but imo small ammo crates are always supposed to be “throw and forget” vs something long term
With them only restocking ammo and bandages, that makes sense for aggressive play, something to just “keep you and your team in the fight”
The only other alternative I can think of would be faster deploy speed, but imo both are fast enough to where it wouldn’t make a difference
Other than mines, claymores, antinades and ropes for example, vast majority of gadgets despawn
Spreading out boxes also helps your team on larger fronts per say stay supplied
As opposed to herding them in one place
Most of which isnt supposed to despawn (barring trophy because of an oversight) but yeah
The stuff that despawns should
And i will remain of the opinion that the trophy shouldnt despawn (should be destroyable by other explosives tho)
C4 should be the only thing that despawns but fuckin unga bunga I guess
I didn't mean give assault the buff as well for the light box. I just meant for support only. Like how the quick a on some guns only lowers recoil while on others it's also messes w recoil. It'd only give the buff to support for the trade off of not taking the s tier heavy kit. Cause right now there literally no reason to run light unless your assault. It'd probably also cut down on exo use given theres an avenue to use support more effectively without it. Though i do agree uping to 6 would be interesting and at least do something to offset the heavy.
Im saying giving the tool the buff for the intent of helping support will also indirectly buff assault. So you have to keep that in mind
Unless oki makes a whole new system just for support to benefit whilst assault does not (which is unlikely to happen, but truthfully would also work)
I mean if medic can have 20 bandages passively i dont think its far fetched to think that support could have a passive that just allows him to carry 6 small ammo boxes
Question is if oki is willing to do it
Exactly like some sort of support exclusive passive that interacts w the small ammo kit.
Speaking of which does support have any passives currently?
Insta builds, can place hesco walls and barbed wire, builds and unbuilds faster
So yes he does
(No)
Wrong reply close enough
Cant engineer build barbed wire? But duh I forgot about all the building passives. I didn't realize they're build/unbuild speed was faster outside of the instant building
Yes but it’s still a pain in the ass to setup without instant builds
