Each player can choose to have his gamer tag hidden or shown to other players. Disabling gamer tag also removes the green/red indicator light from your skin.

I figure this might fix the long time standing performance issues of managing a ton of gamer tags on screen as well as make gameplay more interesting with only some people having gamer tags.

Some pros:
You could pretend to be on the other team
or try to hide more effectively.

Some cons:
Probably works best when friendly fire is enabled.
Possibly annoying

Ehhh I don't think this should be an option. It's an interesting idea, but I don't think it is work for this game implemented like this

yeah everyone would turn it off and everyone else would complain that they don't know where anyone is, or who anyone is.

Options to obfuscate your name if you want, I support that. Turning off your team indicators, nope NOPERS

everyone should have an easily identifiable name. especially since so many people use special characters. as in we turn off gamertags and its something easily searchable.

the default one is the only one that needs to change, the woodland one specifically. the colors and pattern are too similar to easily tell apart.
