How to make medic near useless overnight (they are already inferior to other classes as it is)

Something that would be nice for community server api to play with, not something i'd advocate for base game.

That would make cheaters way to op

Pretty much every class can outheal the medic for the simple reason that medic cannot really heal from his bandages

#

Sure medic can heal but only if he bleeds, otherwise he has to use the med box

#

And it is faster for every other class to heal to full health because they dont need to pull pull out the med box, they can just use bandages, which immediatelly heal 50hp upon use

#

While medic is more sustainable, he is slower than all classes in terms of healing

#

However you don't run medic to run and gun, you run medic to be a medic

#

And even as a medic his kit just kinda sucks

#

Yeah 20 bandages and unlimited heals, but they aren't particularly good

#

Medic can revive marginally faster than all classes, he has slightly increased range from which he can revive, he heals people slowly, dropping the med box is useless

#

Devs gave other classes too much sustainability and indirectly nerfed medic heavily

#

Rn you dont need a medic and does not generally provide any real value to the team

#

At best, he saves the team some tickets and lets the players save up some bandages, but thats not a lot at all

#

If the revive speed of all classes but medic was slowed down and allow from dropped med box to perhaps resupply bandages (or the bare minimum to allow for a substatially better healing method) for example, he would be in a much better spot

Honestly just update health values/speeds and you’d see medic have more use. Maybe add a slight penalty for med kit in another way to off set its power if its deemed too powerful, but otherwise you’d probably just be fine doing increasing the values

I can get those same “infinite heals/revives” by supplying bandages from a supply drop, and given they’re usually safe revives (and heals) the speed rarely matters.

Sure I can heal teammates, or I can just.. you know.. drop a supply box/crate and they can restock that way. Cant pick up dropped bandages (they clip through the floor) so its not like the 20 stack of them help in that department.

#

And on offense as Markiplier said, bandages are superior, medkit just doesn’t have enough utility outside of shrugging off chip damage (which people often ignore anyways unless they’re at risk of being one shot by a bolt action/high cal pistol)

#

TL;DR medic is outclassed and needs a buff to their healing tools at the very minimum, medkit and the old heal values do not make up for what it loses when compared to the tools of other classes.

I’ll believe a buffs coming when I see it, but as it stands medic is just inferior in every way.

Medic needs buff to its medic box

Going to see why the thread with this nonsense is still alive. Ah, the medic discussion again...

Other classes cant revive the victim, but a medic can, that may buff somehow, but only used in milsim mode, which we dont have now ...
