Building structures in Battlebit is really cool, allowing squads to base up in positions around occupied zones, or zones waiting to be taken.
This mechanic also allows players to create completely new angles. Or...It would. If each structure didnt die in a few hits, and if explosions weren't ignored by the structures, so they could actually be used. I propose way more health for all place-able items, and no ability to dismantle enemy structures, which we can currently.

I agree with everything here except the “stop enemies from dismantling”
If they managed to get there, they’ve earned the right to unbuild it imo. Maybe add a slight sound que instead but flat out removing it would cause issues.

Thing about buildables is that a finite amount of things actually damage them, and even if they do the damage them, the damage tends to be ridiculously low (excluding unbuilding them when close)
Only really easily destroyable ones are concrete slabs and barbed wire
To say that buildables get destroyed in a few hits is disingenous
And dont remove unbuilding manually, just nerf it with sound cues and making it a bit slower
If removed, they would be pretty busted and remove player choice in the matter of dealing with buildables

People complaining about how a lot of people use explosives, then changing mechanics to make running explosives mandatory to destroy enemy buildables… make it make sense.
we wear saying melee. a cooldown so you cant repair it within a certain time of being damaged would also be needed
