some people play only transport little bird / blackhawk but the respawn times are quite long, in relation to how many rpg guys are in the enemy team. I think it would be more fun if the transport helis respawn faster, because IF the pilot is good and has impact, he has to risk the heli and all soldiers in it every time he wants to make a play. so it would be a nice risk reward feature for both sides. and it would change the team movement dynamic of the game. because most of the time in casual 254 player games 95% of the team is just running in one stream without coordination from one spot to another, eventually colliding with the 95% of the other team. would be way better if transport helis could be used more frequently to drop as a squad on other flags etc.

The manager(?) of a server sets the time of respawn
exactly, there is a default value (for official servers) but community server owners can change the respawn time of all vehicles by setting a speed % to it. (example: in "flight school" server, the respawn is instant, because the respawn time is at 10 000) so some community servers set it faster, but I think the default respawn time is pretty well made.
