This game is dead, probably because of the minor changes made and the lackluster decision making of the devs. You could've drawn more people in after losing the paranoid schizo's and the hackers, but nah, we want instant gratification and a slow death of our game so well keep using this dog ass EAC.
Base game is fun tho, just still the same as launch except for a few map changes and bugfixes (still some animation crap remains)

Implementing face-it would of alienated a considerably large group of players, there's a large amount of linux users.
You'd also still be dealing with EAC because the Face-It was supposedly to be implemented via rented servers that hardly anyone would of played besides paranoid low skilled players and their friends, it was just a better use of time and money to focus on the game, then home brew a anti-cheat that meets our needs instead.

“Movement = exploiting”
Etc.
I’m not going to deny that cheaters do exist in the game, but most are just accusations from inexperienced players that have no idea what to look for and base it off a single interaction with them/stats

This is a fact, I moderate for community servers and almost every hackusation is "ESP" and I've sat and watched entire games, it's hardly ever a real cheater; though there's probably more of a chance to encounter one in official server. The report system works just fine, recording and posting to Battlebit lawyers is even better then bitching about them.

The main public just want to see decision making from a dev team, not adhering to the rules of the high-end playerbase. Why would you limit your view to the discord server and not think of future players joining a game with a shit anti-cheat.. In this envoirment of FPS games, noone will join. First of the spectate mode is utter trash ofcourse... Thats really fkn aweful for an FPS, second where the fk are my deathcams, makes it much easier to know when to spectate and when to continue, third faceit is a front, people join because of it, because they think it fixes all.
This post is about the game being fkn dead guys, not about your little cheaters getting or not getting caught, I honestly don't give a fuck. The only times I do give a fuck about this is when getting killed and taking fucking 5 minutes just to spectate the player over and over and over again or not having a killcam

didnt have to fuck with BIOS settings, linux etc unlike CS faceit

I might be incorrect but from various discussions on the topic, FACEIT does not support linux.. unless there was a recent change or a modified neutered version of faceit that allows linux
(Which would probably function the same as Easy anti, allowing linux users to simulate/dual boot a windows os? then there would be no point in bringing in Faceit)
