It's well known that players that cheat/don't want to be reported tend to use names/gamertags that use characters that aren't alphanumeric. This makes it so they can't be searched for or remembered. I don't know how you'd go about this when it comes to players whose native language doesn't use some derivative of the latin alphabet, but it would be nice if there were some restrictions on characters people can use for their names to make it easier to search them up and remember them. I'm just getting tired of seeing chinese and japanese characters and being suspicious that someone is cheating but being unable to look them up and double check.

Hello yes guy who used Japanese letters to say “fuck reddit” at one point. Please keep accusing me of cheating solely for what I use as a nickname, and no other determining factor, it’s quite humorous.
(Also you can search by steamID and via leaderboard)
yeah, because I know what steam ID people have in game without looking up their name before hand, or because there isn't 127 people to look through.
