You can just open map, If you aren't directional challenged you can go any obj without needed to use flag as pointer
also you have compass, just use that as ref for direction

Granted this is more of a fault of the squad type system which is truthfully half assed imo. We have a recon squad and we’ll still have a SL in default with no clue on how to lead sitting in redzone sniping whilst his team is trying to push an objective. Or a recon squad with players that aren’t doing recon stuff. Etc.

Im for this game not going milsim as well but if the system isn’t filling the intended purpose it needs to be tuned up again. The whole reason why a recon squad (which imo should probably just be remade into defensive squad) was made is because it was a common complaint that teams would have squads of 4 people working together and 4 just by themselves in safezone sniping (which still is the issue to a degree so yeah, clearly not working as intended.)
