What if you just let players move the position of HUD elements to how they like? Rather than have everything in set positions that might cause frustration for some players, why not allow players to customise their HUD to their own preferences?

As an example, personally I'd have the chat flush against the top-left corner without any gap, I'd make the PROMOTED notification smaller, I'd move the magazine icons to the right of the crosshair and slightly offset, compass to the top of the screen above the objective markers, bleeding notification down (or a noticeable icon to the left of the crosshair), and the killfeed to below the Reload notification.

This is a personal preference, and some people might not like my setup, but this is an example of how a player would customise the UI to their liking.

That's if they even release the update.
They've been working on this update for like 10 months now. It was originally planned to release in April this year.
I just think they don't actually know what they want from the game, so they just keep remaking it over and over.
