#Strange mechanics ingame that don`t make sense and promote toxicity and fights.

I ve been having this serious problem lately;
I always plays as squad leader... and i spend REAL TIME training and trying real life combat tactics, reading about warfare and procedures that are real life based to apply ingame.
I always comunicate with everybody in a "we can do this" energy being it on the VoIP ALL or the VoIP squad leaders and such.
I always help other TeamMates who are not even from my squad, even those that curse and do even worse offenses to me.
SO to the problem at hand; The game allows for players that SPAM ORDERS to take the squad leader position from the squad leader..

EVEN WHILE I AM NOT AFK AND HELPING/FIGHTING. HE SPAMS AND TAKE IT AND THEN PROCEED TO KICK ME FROM MY OWN SQUAD SOME TIMES EVEN CURSE ME AND ACTING LIKE " WHAT ARE YOU GONNA DO ABOUT IT " <<<<
they proceed to take the Points from squad that I WERE THE ONLY ONE USING FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE SQUAD AND REST OF the 120 PLAYERS when i humbly request it back they some times kick me or curse me and try to make fun of me at chat???? <<<<
Taking squad leader position should not be possible for active squad leaders, the AFK STatus should be checked in some way that go further than 5 minutes...
so if i go drink water or bathroom... i go back and someone already stole it???
so.. i am dead(cant mark objectives while dead).. and they take it from me???
mind you, they do not stop even while i say:
"please don`t ask for orders it is bad for the squad leader"
,
"please stop trying to take squad leader from me"
THEY NEVER STOP!! like 2/10 times the person is a humble one and give it back. but most of the times, it does not goes like this...
they go to chat to be like ????? whate are you gonna do?? CRY MORE and such things.
The chat usually go wild and start spamming things , it makes it look like i am being the toxic one , when i am just trying to comunicate and unite players . you can watch my live and see i usually do small banter, but i do give good comments even to the enemy.

I believe other squad leaders that suffered from this have my back on this.. its not fun for a squad leader that use the map and try to unite everybody or even going to the bathroom to go back and see they have to go to a new squad that doenst have points in the middle of the match..
The 190-Y- BR server also have a lot of toxic people that seens this as me being cry baby and spams wild toxicity when i talk about some opnion or something to upgrade the game.
Some times they hate me for free. just because i am talking or reporting then.
I fear this will escalate to hate reports and fights.

The system was put in place due to many misusing the SL position to the squads detriment

Have you tried pressing, what was it, Enter by default to open the squad menu?
From there you can kick and lock the squad in quick succession

Good squad leaders can agree with you.
It s way too easy to get the role stolen and being a good leader does not give enough advantages (exp,more stuff to spend SP)

@limpid orbit and @normal otter seem to have misunderstood the issue, it's that the "request order" feature is not clear and does not give enough information telling you if someone has an order out, or that you need to specifically make a new SL Marker or ping an objective (even if there is one already), so a squad leader who needs the role to operate has to worry frequently about combatting (for an example) continuous requests from users. I believe Aurélio was not aware that this is what the game considers "squad lead activity", because it is not explained at all and is just roughly recreated from a different game, feature incomplete.

I’ve been in squads where SL does jack shit and me stealing SL and kicking all the recons in safe zone along with other deadweights suddenly makes it a useful default/tactical squad. Maybe don’t be a burden if you don’t want to get kicked/SL taken?

Performing a coup on a squad leader is piss easy, but it's also easy to prevent it.

I set up a macro and spam the message "squad leader has pinged X objective " till they get the memo. If they do it again I kick them out and lock the squad.

It’s not always about “trolling”. Sometimes the SL just can’t read the room when you join a squad and that’s when someone else needs to step up and take it

And whilst I agree tutorials would be useful, ultimately if you don’t know how to SL, just ask for advice or ask for someone who does know to take over until oki finishes adding proper tutorials in that next update.

OP has established in the thread they know how to get the request to not go through, so.. just do that?

I think the automatic objective markers should go away but having an active marker should also prevent the sl to be taken. Having to remark the same objective over and over is stupid

if that's how that person wants to play he should be allowed to do so (if he acts as an sl) but an attack of an objective / defense can take longer than a few mins so having to reping the same attack several times is stupid

Again, it’s about reading the room. People will literally sit in safezone doing jack, not even bothering to place a relay for their team, then complain about squad hoppers, why SL got stolen, etc.

Maybe I want to push an objective and not be punished for the stupidity of other squadmates who completely fail to recognize that is what the squad is doing, and are nowhere near the action/a key area?

I’ve been with SLs who are completely ok with playing defense whilst their team pushes. Wanna know the difference?

they position themselves well and use relays. They can read the room and know how to be an effective teammate that contributes to the objective

Not really lol. Dead squad does even less for the team than a shitty one, and you still have less useful spawnpoints.

At that point, why bother kicking them at all.

What they are doing its like a harassment.
I believe it's always the same players who do this, the best thing you can do is either kick them first or not be afk in the match.
