#Make camo patterns faction specific

but it's already like that
I believe you, but if I haven't realized that after 40 hours, maybe the differences are a little too weak?
Enemies and allies will have different colored glow sticks that will actually glow in the next update to help combat the confusion.
That helps, but my next complaint is how that will ruin stealth at night.
It is only visible on enemies if under 20 meters i believe. We havent seen it previewed at night but, my guess is it will be harder to be completely undetected.

https://imgur.com/a/support-camos-uj6Z2wp if you want to play a fun game, try and guess if the person on the left or right is an enemy or ally
Fun fact, tan boots on a block boi is bare feet
This is the reason that exist team markers
Right, but those blue dots disappear real easily when skylining against a blue sky
Having to rely on a little floating triangle is terrible for combat clarity, being able to tell an enemy is an enemy by their character model is incredibly important in a hectic fast paced shooter
thankfully the changes are comin
I hope they solve it! Otherwise I'll raise this suggestion again

If you want to check out what it looks like as of a month ago in dev
In this case, just standardize the skins
A team, a camo
They chose to go the glow stick route which lets you customize your characters look while still being identifiable as a enemy/allie
Armor will no longer break as it being reworked, so, you can focus on the soldier drip without obfuscating your characters team
And for this, exist flag patch. Or like in airsoft games bands
There are patches on the soldiers, the movement speeds, ttk and movement options make them basically useless. By the time you figure out what patch the persons wearing, 8 people on your team have died
So, use bands in the arms. Like in airsoft
Might happen, for now, they going with glowsticks
get the lazer weapon attachments on a buncha people together on a night map and you got yourself a rave
imagine, you're a stealth soldier at night with a fucking light stick on you
IR strobes be a thing. and to be fair, those sticks already made you stick out at night
I can see the color difference right away, is this really hard for people to do? legitimate question
Fr
there are color differences, but which one is russian or us? Its not impossible, the current legibility of the game is managable but its, not very good. Each class has their own pallet of skins per environment, which makes it harder to track is that a russian recon, a us medic, an armorless us support?
the blueish one is russian.
its much brighter
now between classes, you have a point
actually, all the camo patters are side based only, what do you mean the classes have different camo's?
the only troublesome camo patterns are the default woodland patterns for both sides. every other camo is distinct enough that a glance will tell you which is which.
I was tripping. had to go back and look at the screenshots.
They can be told apart, totally agree, but they are also very easy to blend together
I come from of the land of red vs blue so like, im down for whatever honestly
Idk. I'm milsim player
I am from the land of quake, unreal tournament, teamfortress 2. I am the arcade player here to ruin it all
honestly, the first camo's on the woodlend side should be altered a bit. the US one isn't even a us camo, but the first testing version in the ACU tests in the early 2000's. if they used a later version that base woodland and even arid camo's would be very distinct
I'm from project reality, arma, squad , ground branch and ready or not
🤝 I hope there is a place in the "squad based shooter" that is the focus where both elements can exist in some way
I mean, all but one type of camo are pretty distinct
Yeah, of course of some jeito i think bru i'm with preguiça to open translator
I will dormir
this version of the woodland pattern (the initial trial version of All-Over brush is what the base US camo is based on) would make it very different from the russian digital version. (This version is the 3rd and final revisions of All-Over Brush, woodland and desert, of which I believe only the desert was tested in the Universal Camouflage trials)
