I think this would be a fun gadget to toss at hordes of players in tunnels in a future update. I think the tear gas could be a reskin of the smoke grenades we have now and when it’s affects a player it would make there screen less visible and decrease their health.

It’s only a war crime if used in actual wars but if used domestically it’s legal. That’s why cops can use Tear gas on protesters. It’s a video game.

actually so the bullet has less chance to enter a building or car they didn't intend to shoot/goes through the person they shot.

Also tear gas by itself is not that useful is meant to be used in conjuction with other chemical agents in war

True, I've seen both arguments used, however it was banned in war because they're considered inhumane due to the increased injuries and likelihood of permanently embedded shards of bullet iirc, so using them in civilian situations is kind of bizarre

Yeah hollow points are made to expand upon impact

This greatly reduces penetration at whatever you are shooting at

To most hard objects you wont do much

To people however, due to the expansion, basically makes a big hole inside of you and breaks off more easily
