#Lower kills per gun required for skins

I went prestige 1 thinking it would unlock more skins and then i realized i need like 1500 kills for every gun i want a skin on, and now i regret prestiging lol. Seriously thousands of kills to unlock a skin per each gun is a bit stupid, especially for pistols. Yeah it doesn't affect gameplay but goddam the ugly vanilla gun look gets boring after a while, I don't want microtransactions to unlock them but thousands of kills is too much, ik this is like the least of the devs issues right now but i feel like its still something worth talking about and it needs rebalancing. After i ranked up prestige it felt like i grinded 200 ranks for nothing lol, cause i now need to grind thousands of kills on every single gun that i want the cool new prestige skins on.

it is a skill issue, i'm a casual player and have managed to grind out my favorite weapons with no problem

The number of kills needed to open the skin is way to high, given the quality of skins and the fact that the skin on your weapon is seen only by yourself and no one else. I already wrote about it in my post here (https://discord.com/channels/303681520202285057/1245737331412041802).

I am also a regular player and I have 550 hours in the game and I quickly get bored playing with one weapon all the time, so I have about:
3k on M4A1
2k on ACR, SCAR-H, Honey Badger, G36C.
1k on AK47, AK5S, MP5, UMP45, pp2000, HK416, MK20.

but my friend also has about 550 hours and
10k kills with FAMAS
3k M4A1

As a result I like all weapons, and my friend hates FAMAS, but he has a golden skin BBClown
