Sorry if youve answered this already because i may have missed it but i understand the wall in the middle of the map is destructible, does that mean you can drive vehicles through the wall to destroy it as well?
only explosion will trigger part of wall collapes.

But it's kind of a major visual identifier of the map

Idk. I really like the river on one side of the map. It helps you orient yourself and gives an interesting risky flank route
Like this just kind of looks like an entirely DIFFERENT map. Which is ok, but I really feel the big river at least needs to be in. I understand why the bridge isn't

The new map topography looks good. The symmetry has a much more natural flow about it.
Since the images shared so far have focused on the POIs, will the terrain still remain heavy forest (in comparison to Old map's wide open expanses on Western side) ?.
Additionally, I am one of the luck few who had chance to play the Lonovo event map (Flooded version for those who don't know).
... This new map has lots of opportunity to play quite different on the rare occasion the map is flooded...just saying.
Also, What is the unit of distance for the topographic lines?
sadly cannot provide that. i did divide heightmap by 10 wide lines and 40 small ones....
but later one will be shared more info.

@devout cairn All good! - No a vital in-game detail... rather for . My main concern came the elevated PoI having strong lines of sight without a hard counter. But a high forest density in the valleys between the POI's will make for interesting gameplay.

River or no, bridges or no, I'm glad the bunker and its chokepoints are gone
That being said, the map flow...feels very much like New Dusty or even CQ Small Zalfi looking at objective progression, where certain objectives are skipped so the team blob can keep moving in circles

is the wall in the middle of the map wide enough to stand on? is there cover on the wall like the great wall of china (1 tile high or more on either side)? or is it a 1 block wide barrier to prevent line of sight?
1 block barrier that you can stand on and build on, but that going to be a suicide mission

i always feel like there are 7749 snipers targeting me whenever i go to high place
the strange part about sniping in games like battlebit is that the easiest targets are other snipers
if you're on the high ground, the other snipers are on the high ground too. That's why there needs to be cover in the center. It's why I always put up a little wall so other snipers don't bother shooting at me and I can carry on
Will there be the new urban map in the update? And is it possible with the software that the weather is changing in a session?

To share some opinion about map need play this map first. From key change look like we will play tank combat with apc rushes. So who can play nice with tanks will win. Others mb will play with snipers cuz longer ttk.
really should test new maps out more in the process of making them in the beta branch imo

I think it'll play pretty well just off looking at it, but I feel like the circle shape will cause some cross map funnies
I firmly believe having a default limit to snipers per squad would be the best for the game.
How many testers do they have? Have you even gotten to test much of anything? (I'm sure you can't give specifics but..)

I don't believe Wakistan was ever a very good map for sniping, at most you'd get 400m shots, and that was typically against other marksmenz.
My question is why we needed to do this to bolt actions and dmrs on a map that already was pretty tame for them?
