Don't get me wrong i'm ok with customization, but wouldn't the better solution be to have different options per setting?
This might be fine for one person, but the next might not like these settings.
It's not a bad idea and will benefit certain players, I just don't think it should be "forced" onto people that don't like it, if that makes sense? Like I would want to keep speed reload as hold

Yeah. I dont mind double binding the functions either because its already possible with stuff like zoom + shoot, move + lean, etc
and if we wanted to be technical this already partially exists anyways, so I don't see how they couldn't expand on it to allow for checking mags

Please make the animation of "check magazine" really fast though. Having it be as slow as magazine reload is defeating the point of it.

oh yeah no it is somewhat slow, just not "entire reload" slow, and you can generally just use the magazines on your hud in the corner. I find its really only useful for big boxes, everything else is too low an ammo count that anything less than half you just reload and repack.

its just "reload fast or slow". the fact that the reload time is also just a slowing of your movements is also annoying
