#No Minimum Player Limits

In Australia there seems to be 2 main servers, one is 127v127 and it rarely gets love because it needs 7v7 minimum to start. So people join and then drop when the game doesn't begin in the first minute.
Can we remove the minimum player limit?
(I don't know if it is baked into the game or if it is how this specific server is setup)

depending on the size you may need more players to start
127v127 if i recall requires 10-14 players
8v8 if i recall can start with 4-6 players
but yes its baked in but could easily be changed by oki

As long as it only applies to OCE and nowhere else

^ can confirm as I have occasionally here and there helped them seed (got some fun rush games out of it too when the lobby had enough people, even on 250 ping.. kinda used to that from old internet days xd)

But It’s either they play on that one server or they play on the Asian community server, so for them any help to get the games going is better than nothing.

That being said, the only problem I forsee which might hinder this is oki’s/vilak’s paranoia about “xp farming” (known more commonly as XP boosting in other games)

Imo it’s weird to factor that into balancing/servers instead of punishing the individuals engaging in questionable behavior, but until we get past that hurdle with the dev team it’s going to be hard to see any change like this, as frustrating as it sounds
