Because the sun isn’t beaming light at night and is covered by the moon it cannot reflect light off of sniper scopes. Sometimes though the moon can reflect little light on sniper scopes.

we need proper light sources so positioning could actually change this. also, I swear there is no glint at night I have never seen it during a night map I don't think

M-DX still works for some reason but regular scopes no longer have glint on night maps.
