#Buff the littlebird or add another weapon to it

I find it kinda crazy how a couple guys with guns can take me down in 15 seconds and how hard it is to hit infantry with the guns on it, even blasting vehicles with a turret is a death sentence because they just shoot me down.
so maybe add a small amount of missiles to it or buff the health a bit

delicate charm

skill issue that you cant aim

frail hamlet
#

nah i can

delicate charm
#

but yes buff the health

frail hamlet
#

but when im heading back for reps i get shot down

#

some maps i cant fly low

delicate charm
#

so fly high

frail hamlet
#

so an air to ground that can disable vehicles would be cool

#

but then again drones and rpgs are dense ingame so idk

I think splash damage would be enough for an overall more enjoyable littlebird experience ingame. You could actually reliably contest infantry ingame without being completely outgunned. Fixing the bugged helicopter windows would also help too.

#

i mean itd be balanced

#

not too much firepower

#

make it mainly anti vehicle

silent estuary
#

It could also be armor only if it turns out to be too imbalanced against infantry. Lord knows the safezone camping tanks deserve it

frail hamlet
#

yeah

#

make it like HEAT

#

ive shot at groups of people with heat and killed one

#

but theyre good for buildings and vehicles

delicate charm
#

adding any form of splash damage to littlebird would instantly make the thing op again

frail hamlet
#

alteast more ap

#

i dont do a fraction to turreted vehicles

silent estuary
#

Y'know. Even if it was only to destroy buildings/buildables it would be good. You could actually pick apart a wall and shoot inside.

frail hamlet
#

or open it up for troops

silent estuary
#

Exactly. What teamplay and game impact does a military LB have anyway? Minimal at best. I think this is a good suggestion.

#

All vehicles ingame's sole purpose should be to help infantry

frail hamlet
#

yeah

#

blackhawk i have no complaints on

#

its got health and if you have a good crew its fine

#

its mainly transport anyways

#

ive been shot down by like 3 dudes in littlebird tho

delicate charm
#

the miniguns on it are... extremely underwhelming

frail hamlet

lb needs a rework to feel complete

spoiler alert! We will never wait for this, we still don’t even have the ability to separate the buttons for rolling out miniguns and free viewing

#

In fact, it seems to me that the buff is not needed. You just need the game to work correctly. So that the cockpit windows work and are not buggy, so that the damage to light armored vehicles decreases with distance. The only thing I think needs to be buffed is the distance at which the damage is reduced

#

It's hard to talk about how bad or good the LB is when the game isn't working correctly.

analog sandal
#

As long as lb can be 1 tapped by heat i wont have issues with buffing it

storm cloud
analog sandal
#

Impossible

#

Unspeakable

frail hamlet
#

still needs a health buff

distant cliff
#

Moreover, it seems to me that it’s not even a matter of HP. The fact is that damage to light armored vehicles does not decrease with distance

#

I think this is a bug or unfinished mechanics

imo the only buff it needs is tankier heli windows. You have enough vehicle movement, health and ammo to deal some good damage to infantry and other helis. If it could 1v1 lav's and tanks it'd be far too op. The biggest problem I have when flying is being beamed out by a singular spray even at a large distance, and this will be more apparent in the next update when 4x scoped ar's will become the meta with lower recoil and more dmg at range.

#

If you are struggling with the littlebird currently my advice is to really think about your targets & your timing. Scan the environment before going in for a strafe and try target higher value targets that can impact your survivability/time on the field (occupied helis/gun humvees/rhib boats with wide LOS > engineers/support lmg) before going for the squishier infantry. Practice tryna survive for as long as possible, while still being effective for the team and learn places on each map which are often quite safe to fly around

#

Accuracy will come over time, what helps to improve is meaningful playtime with the littlebird

#

^final comment is to not fly too predictably. Try to switch up your flight patterns & strafes instead of going for the slow & steady circle strafe every time. Don't be afraid to fly slow in certain situations in which you might have infantry or a vehicle in your crosshairs at low health

#

^^final final comment is to fly evasively when you suspect a tank/lav may have you in their crosshairs, locate where they are and try to avoid flying too low in front of them. When I'm being targeted by armour I try to fly above their turrets radius or I just leave the area

I wouldn't mind little birds if tryhards werent the ones who always hog em

I'd rather just have laser designation, like with binocs or an anti-air tracker or somethin

#

Or just add a stinger

shut sluice
#

that'd just make helis useless

frigid cove
#

They're not useless in battlefield

shut sluice
#

yeah but there's also like 20 different vehicles each with their own different countersets & infinite ammo/self repairs

#

if you're getting tilted by littlebirds you could always learn to counter them with the blackhawk. Easiest & best counter to them is a blackhawk squad because of how little health the actual bird has

frigid cove
#

.... So then how would the LB be useless if there was more Anti-Air?

shut sluice
#

if there were lock ons and laser designations almost nowhere would be safe on the map

distant cliff
#

People in the shooter position are pressing you purely for luck from any distance. And it works

shut sluice
#

Legit all a blackhawk has to do is fly at the skybox and keep its distance while the gunners burst spray at the littlebird

distant cliff
#

I will once again remind everyone who doesn’t know)) only 20 shots with Deagle and the LB falls

#

At any distance

#

What a bizarre take. Player’s skill or (lack there of) shouldn’t dictate how easy it should be to explode a helicopter

shut sluice
#

gamers nowadays expect everything to come so easily to them and instead of commending a counterplay to their strategy they complain and demand nerfs lol

#

If you've ever played in a lav or tank then you should know the wrath of an engy squad

#

there would be constant lock ons

#

in battlefield it is fine because there are indicators showing you where you are being locked on from so you know where to target/avoid. There is also a lot more vertical cover for vehicles to hide behind whereas in battlebit most maps are very flat and open

#

Lock ons and flares are a completely unnecessary time sink for the devs. Just learn how to better counter littlebirds with the numerous options already available, learn to avoid them or learn to not get tilted at them

mystic pond
#

Lock on missiles would be cool BUT they would be completely un balanced

So like dont expect that itll be added or fixed i guess
