Tank add more armor , co gunner need his gun to shoot straight not like left and right also add higher bullet drop on the gun for limited range.
APCS and LAVS need more armor to not get overwhelmed by infantry also the gun needs a little bid more splash and less hits on infantry 2-4 hits also add a little more bullet drop.
Heli with guns, the guns need to get a bit more damage and damage reduction on vehicles with armor.
also the Heli needs more armor to not gets sprayed down from small guns.
(No/less c4 on drones), only one mine per drone also the infantry mine shouldnt trigger on vehicles.
Drones shouldnt be flying in to the enemy spawn.(disable spawn killing)

the loud buzzing is heard in less than 20 meters btw.
Still enough time to react and run away with c4. Or just have your gunner/yourself shoot it
the apcs don't need more armor, the things used to kill them need to be nerfed.

C4 itself vs vehicles maybe. C4 + drone should stay though. Same with mines being how they are currently

more weight on the drone per item, keeps it useful but not just "drop out of the sky at mach 10 and kill everything"
gunner posistion needs to be balanced on a gyro. goes for all vehicles. fucking stupid its not useful unless completly stopped.

Vehicles rework should take Arma 3 is a excellent example for detailed vehicle armor system, and bf4 for diversity vehicles and weapon attached on them.
Drones have nothing to nerf. But still I think about a weight system for drones, like more c4/mine they carry, slower and louder they are (a bit).
Those who say that a drone is easy to shoot down, have you tried it yourself? Or are you just theorizing?
It is also not always possible to hear it
You can only hear it if you are standing in the blue zone and shooting at little men like a fool at a kilometer distance. If you try to play aggressively, you will be instantly punished by the drone. This wouldn't be a problem if this shit hadn't been one-shotted
As DevilDog wrote above, the shooter's position is a pain for the eyes. Again, if the driver tries to play aggressively the shooter is simply useless

A decent player with awareness and a tank driver that isn't shit in the case of the gunner will have no problem doing it
Also playing too aggro/recklessly gets you killed by anything realistically. If it's not drones its tandems/heats being shot at you
Hi, I had some issues in multiple matches where u cant drive out of the spawn because every time u tryed it u got emediantly drone bombed.
For the spawn Camping i agree with u for that these Things should be enabled.
Often Times what i did was jumping out of the vehicle and shoot the drone down. The guns in the vehicles are to shit for somthing like that, also u cant out run them often Times when u hear them its already to late.

Takes time for someone to swap to C4 to then blow up a tank, and like I mentioned the sound is pretty loud so it’s not like you don’t have time to stop it. As for groups coordinating with the drone to blow stuff up, I’d argue it’s not much different than tanks doing the same to do their thing
If adjustments need to be made, like I said: I take no issue with oki making what should be the counters (like the gunner of the tank) less of a pain to use. The drone/strat itself is fine. Maybe make C4 less effective against vehicles unless it hits the weakspot/back, sure. But I don’t think nerfing drone into the ground is the play here.
if its heavy it drop out of the sky. easily give yourself time to switch before it hits the tank.
easy to do, and no time to react because its falling so fast(and the engine is "idling" so its quieter)
c4 should do shit to vehicles anyway unless we use all of it on a humvee. if we want a "c4" to do something to vehicles much less armor it should be a seperate gadget.

I agree that the inattentive crew should be punished, but drones with c4 are too simple a one-shot mechanic
How about immobility mechanic, like a drone with 3 or 300 c4 boom and make tanks into immobility mode, slow as fuck and only take 1 c4/shell/rpg to down ?
Could work tbh. The main reason why people drone is due to it being the only way to deal with redzone tanks anyways. So fix redzone (at the bare minimum, allow enemies to shoot in it) + that and I'd say you got a proper solution that I think most people would be happy with
Most of the time the one shots are because of a tank hitting said weak spots (and to some extent APCs) due to crews not paying attention.. which is on the player. That being said, I do see the clips where people just get mauled a few seconds after leaving spawn by 1 drone guy and think it's equally as stupid. Comical and to some extent on the player, yes. But they still barely got to use it at the end of the day.
I mean, HEAT or tandem to the side will usualy make it fuck off after 1 or 2 shots since your splash will hit the weakspot. which of course is its own problem
there's inattentive and then there's not able to look in every direction or watching your back every other second because you will not hear anything unless its within 10 meters of yoru vehicle at best.
That's why you have a squad, decent sound, and hopefully people that care enough to help you push. The solo tank is naturally going to stand out as a high priority target to the drones
Armor, damage from what's on the drone, and the like can be looked into as well ofc but I genuinely don't think it's an issue of the drone/gadget strat if that makes sense?
More so the side effect of other tools which we already agree probably should be less viable against APCs/Tanks but hitting the weakspot would still be rewarded, ofc
the drone just makes it easier, the main problem is that there are very few multpliers for damage and everything is true damage. the drone is one of the bigger problems because other than "look in every direction at the same time, or hear something that you can only hear from 10 meters away while its still at least 50 meters away" there is no counter to it in vehicles. and god forbid your driver tries to run, your only hope is to get out and try to shoot it down that way.
second, your squad should not be sitting within 5 meters of the tank if they can help it. RPG and c4 cover that area, and they would likely just die to what kills the tank. the fact that you have to have a good crew, good squad, have your sound be optimal and have enough teammates around you to push to even be marginally effective says there is a problem there. again especially since if the drone drops out of the sky you will have less than a second to react.
usually the hit to the weakspot is rewarded with damaged modules, not true damage. as it is now weakspots just multiply the true damage to astronomical levels and allow one man to nuke a tank in less than 2 seconds.
From my experience, sky dropping drones are still pretty loud, on both ends of the engagement being the drone bomber and fighting the drone Also, you don't have to be "super" close to the thing you're defending to hear it. There are counters too, but as you said unless you're sitting still, they kinda suck. So I get the frustration in that regard
Either way though I think we can both agree c4 vs vehicle and the armor/counter systems of said vehicles specifically the heavy ones can and should be looked into though.
And with drone indicators allegedly coming I think that would also fix this problems for the people using tanks/APCs if it ever gets pushed to the next update, depending on how they implement it
Hell I don't even try for sky drop sometimes (too noticeable, people hear drones they immediately look up) and do shit like this for the record I don't think I should have killed him I didn't even get close enough to the weak spot and by all accounts this is scuffed
C4 needs a nerf but not drones, you can counter c4 drones by driving away the tank, they are slow
make them heavy, drop em out of the sky, no time to react
