One of the main reasons for player attrition in Battlebit is "being instantly killed without any warning," which leads to a strong sense of frustration among players.
Grenades, C4, and RPGs are among the biggest sources of "being instantly killed without any warning."
I sincerely hope that in the future, proximity alerts can be added for grenades, C4, and RPGs to at least give players some information to evade them.
I believe that this addition would make it harder for users to get easy kills, but for most players, it would be a lifesaver. This could reduce the "frustration" players feel while playing as much as possible, thereby helping Battlebit move in a positive direction.

They are adding grenade indicators next update and frankly, they are completely unnecessary and from what I have seen people don't want them
As for C4, I did suggest adding a sound cue to it, like a beep or something, so it isnt completely silent
And RPG indicators would be useless
I find it really funny that people complain about "grenade spam", but when someone suggest an idea to try and fight that the same people say "no, I don't want that!"
Just food for thought
Grenade spam isn't even that bad, especially if you have antinades
God bless antinades
Two things: First is I havent seen many people here complain about grenade spam. Second is that if grenade spam were an issue, that doesnt necessarily make adding indicators a good idea. My problem with indicators is that it's something that stylistically clashes with the rest of the game and removes a significant amount of skill and awareness you need to avoid nades.
Just to clarify, I don't like the idea of grenade indicators either, I just find what I pointed out to be something really silly
I really like the juxtaposition between low poly graphics, arcade macro mechanics, and milsim micro mechanics BBR has. It's one of my favorite things about it
Agreed
Same
They just need to improve the sounds of grenades hitting the ground and all
Legit cant hear em at times
They can do so many things to make it better, grenade indicators are the most obvious and generic way to do it
Like why not change their color to something more distinguishable for example
Even that would make a big difference
Been actually thinking about that
Grenades dont stick out at all especially on roads
Cause other than 1 small part they are almost the identical color of the road
They also have the exact color and a similar shape to the debris particles that explosions cause
That’s actually a good point for a decent chunk of complaints in this game, and one that was brought up before on another thread
“Hard to tell who’s friend or foe”
“Hard to see grenades when they blend in with the terrain”
“Hard to determine what’s breakable and isn’t unless it has an obvious brick pattern” etc
Just improving things visually in these situations might make it better for new players to react without making it too obvious.
